APPOINTMENTS & TELEHEALTH

Sundial Mind Care currently provides psychiatric care for adults ages 18 and older.

Telehealth services are currently available to patients who are physically located in Michigan at the time of their appointment.

Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 60-75 minutes.

Follow-up appointments are generally scheduled every 4-12 weeks, depending on your symptoms, medications, and individualized treatment plan. More frequent follow-up may be recommended when beginning or adjusting medication.

Yes. Appointments are conducted through a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

Yes. We evaluate adults experiencing symptoms of ADHD and executive functioning difficulties. Recommendations may include education, behavioral strategies, and non-controlled medication options when clinically appropriate.

Sundial Mind Care does not currently prescribe controlled medications, including stimulant medications.

Medication management is our primary service. Supportive therapeutic interventions may be incorporated into appointments when appropriate; however, Sundial Mind Care does not provide ongoing, therapy-only treatment. Referrals for psychotherapy may be recommended as part of your treatment plan.

Yes. When clinically appropriate, we consider insurance formularies, generic alternatives, medication costs, and available savings programs. Our goal is to recommend options that are both clinically appropriate and cost-conscious.

Sundial Mind Care is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.

Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for eligible services
PAYMENTS & INSURANCE

Please visit the client portal to set up your first appointment.

After requesting an appointment, you will receive instructions to complete your intake forms through our secure client portal. Once your information has been reviewed and the appointment is approved, you will receive confirmation with details about your telehealth visit. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee that an appointment has been confirmed.

Please have your photo ID, an up-to-date list of your medications, preferred pharmacy information, and any relevant medical or mental health records available. If possible, also provide recent laboratory results and the names of your current healthcare providers. Please complete all required intake forms before your appointment and join from a quiet, private location with a reliable internet connection.

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. One late cancellation or missed appointment fee may be waived as a courtesy during each rolling 12-month period. After the courtesy waiver has been used, appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments will be charged the full scheduled appointment fee. Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or circumstances beyond your control.
